Major features
- ASC now has unlimited Undo for all actions and an action manager that allows undoing of individual action even they were not the latest ones!
- ASC and the Mapeditor are scriptable with Lua (with the mapeditor having greater scripting possibilities, since there is no danger of cheating through Lua)
- The message events can now be translated into different languages, with ASC detecting the operating system language and using that translation, if available
- Campaigns available in several language:
- Tutorial (NEW!): English, German, French
- Standard: English, German
- Kamor: German, French
- NOS: German, French
- Especially the Standard-Campaign got a major overhaul, fixing lots of problems that were caused by changes in the underlying data (terrain, units, ...)
- A lot of bugs have been fixed in the AI, making significantly stronger on the campaign maps than before
- new Data package manager allows modeling dependencies between data packages and the main program, and giving better error messages if dependencies are not satisfied
- Lots of rendered 3D images for units!
Minor features
