TerrainTypes are defined through .ASCTXT files, just like most other data used in ASC. Here are two examples .ASCTXT terrain files.
Example1:
TerrainType { Name = SomeName ID = 12345 Weather = dry dry { UseGFXpics = false Picture = filename.png DefenseBonus = 0 AttackBonus = 0 BasicJamming = 0 MoveMalus = 11 TerrainProperties = Lowland Track_possible } dry } TerrainType
Example2:
TerrainType { Name = SomeName ID = 12346 Weather = dry much_snow dry { UseGFXpics = false Picture = filename.png DefenseBonus = 0 AttackBonus = 0 BasicJamming = 0 MoveMalus = 11 TerrainProperties = Lowland Track_possible } dry much_snow { UseGFXpics = false Picture = filename_snow.png DefenseBonus = 0 AttackBonus = 0 BasicJamming = 0 MoveMalus = 13 TerrainProperties = Lowland Track_possible } much_snow } TerrainType
Values for Weather:
Weather = { "dry", "light_rain", "heavy_rain", "few_snow", "much_snow", "snow_and_ice" };
